and -N is a "gotcha" for some (many?) customer/admins -- so we're
considering ways to make that easier -- but without "breaking"
scripts and callbacks and what-have-yous that might depend on the current/old
defaults... Always a balancing act -- considering that GPFS ne Spectrum
