[gpfsug-discuss] Storage Scale UG community moving from Slack to Discord

Hi all,

We are in the process of migrating the Storage Scale UG community from Slack to Discord.

The primary reasons for the move are Slack's increasingly restrictive free-tier limitations, particularly around message history retention and the requirement to periodically renew invite links.

The new Discord server is now available here:

https://gpfsug.org/discord


We encourage everyone to join as soon as convenient. Existing discussion channels are being recreated there and future community activity will gradually transition across.

We also now have the "NSDaemon" bot available on the Discord server to help with GPFS / IBM Storage Scale and related questions.


Over time, we will also be looking at integrating the Discord forum and related community content into the main website.

The Slack workspace will remain available for a short period during the migration, but we expect to retire it in the near future.
