<font size=2 face="sans-serif">An OS reboot is almost never necessary.
For some SpectrumScaleFileSystem (SSFS?) configuration changes you
might need to `mmshutdown; mmstartup;` on some of your nodes.</font><br><font size=2 face="sans-serif">That can be disruptive, so should not
be taken lightly on a production system, but definitely much quicker than
a "full reboot".<br></font><BR>
